Millarville Mutts & Mustangs 4H Club Seeking Sponsorship

The Millarville Mutts and Mustangs has operated since 2002 and has attracted members aged 9 to 21, from Calgary, Millarville, Okotoks, Black Diamond, Turner Valley, High River and all surrounding areas. Our club membership has continued to grow annually and this year we have attracted 24 members, with a focus primarily on Canine and Equine Projects. Our youth have been very active in the community, volunteering at community and corporate events and promoting 4-H. They have attended parades, organized fundraisers for Cancer Research, supported Alberta Guide Dogs, as well as displayed the skills that they have learned with their animals at horse and dog shows throughout Southern Alberta.
Due to the amount of travel required and equipment the club has acquired, the need has arisen for the club to purchase a Cargo trailer. We have dog agility and gymkhana equipment that needs to be stored and delivered to our training venue weekly. Much of the equipment is large and cumbersome and a purchase of a cargo trailer will greatly ease the load of our volunteers and families and allow greater accessibility to the equipment.
We expect the trailer to have a lifespan of 12 to 15 years and its use will directly assist participation of upwards of 400 local youth. It will also assist the Millarville Mutts and Mustangs to introduce and promote the 4-H organization to many families and youth beyond our geographical boundaries.
We are seeking interested businesses, community groups and families who might be interested in sponsoring advertising space on our cargo trailer to help the club offset the costs of maintenance, insurance and purchase of the trailer.
