From The Lions Den

Lions are an international organization, who are ready to serve anywhere in the world. Lions Club International has given $6,000,000 in mobilizing funds to support immediate and long term relief to help the country and it's people, in Japan. We are ready to serve anywhere in the world because we are an international organization.

Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. The 1.35 million members of our volunteer organization, (45,000 clubs in 206 countries) are different in many ways but share the same belief "community is what we make it". When it comes to meeting challenges our response is simple and unconditional - "WE SERVE".

The Foothills Lions Club had a "Fun Day" for it's members, at the Valley Neighbours Club, where we showed our skills at floor curling, shuffle board and crib. After all the mental and physical exertion we went to the Diamond Valley Restaurant for a lovely buffet. This was a day of fun and fellowship.

The next Lions BINGO will be held at the Valley Neighbours Club on Friday, April 15th, 6:30pm. There are only 6 more Bingos until the summer holidays - let's try to get all the players out.
