Sunday, November 20th found the Bisons in Red Deer to face Pro Stitch. Red Deer opened the scoring when the league's point leader Chris Rauckman put it by Foothill's goalie Dave Rupp to open the scoring. Then Kaleb Burnett followed for the herd after jumping on his own rebound for his first of the season. Credit Colby Walden with the assist.
Fast forward to the third period with the herd holding a large margin in shots but still the game was up for grabs. Then the relentless Mack Pretty with a great short-handed effort put this one away at 11:33 of the third frame with his first tally of the season. Shots in this contest were 33-16 in favour of the Bisons.
Saturday, November 26th was game day for the Bisons in Blackie against the NWCAA Stamps. Foothills got it going with Josh Younker's first of the season. Mark up Stronski and Mack Pretty with the assists. Next up was Blayne Gillanders on the power-play with Jesse Clay assisting. Gill-anders finished the scoring in the first with Kostelansky assisting.
Tied at 3 each going to the second frame, the Stamps got a short- handed effort to take a 4-3 lead to the third stanza. Then Foothills amped it up with Claresholm's Jesse Clay with one to draw even with the Stamps. Gillanders took it to 5-4 with Colby Walden and Justin Jones as the helpers. Then Gillanders less than two minutes later put the icing on the cake with his fourth of the contest with Kolton Kost-elansky assisting.
The Stamps made it interesting with a late one, but ultimately Foothills would prevail 6-5 and take the W.
