Longview School - Let Learning Soar

The Christmas Fair at Longview School on Friday, November 25th was a huge success. It was a great way to start the holiday season and everyone had lots of fun! We thank school council, room reps and parents for hosting such a wonderful Christmas Fair. A special thank you goes out to Michelle Nelson for organizing and Chairing the Christmas Fair, Krista Miller and Tracey Bews for organizing and preparing dinner, Karen Nelson for arranging ticket sales, Stacey McPherson for organizing the Everyone Wins Booth, Krista Faschoway for arranging a visit and pictures with Santa, Donna Gallup for arranging the cake walk, Joan Stuart, Katrina Mikkelsen and Lori Goss for the Elf Shelf.
Everyone at Longview School would like to send out a great big thank you to the businesses that supported Longview school by graciously donating items to our Christmas Fair. Everyone is welcome to our School Christmas Concert which is an adaptation by Kathryn Schultz Miller of Charles Dickens, “A Christmas Carol”. The evening performance will be held on Thursday, December 22nd starting at 6:30pm. The dress rehearsal Christmas tea will be held in the afternoon of Tuesday, December 20th at 1:00pm. The overall goal of our drama presentations at Longview School is to foster a positive self-concept in students by encouraging them to explore life by assuming theatric roles and acquiring dramatic skills.
