Oilfields High School ~ Graduating Class of 2012

It seems a little early to be talking about graduation but when you are planning for the perfect graduation ceremony and celebration, the fundraising needs to start as early as possible. The 2012 Grads from Oilfields High School have some creative fundraising happening and that's where you can help out!

www.gobid.ca and click on the auction calendar to find OHS 2012 Grad. There are a few items on the site already but there is still room for lots more, so if you have anything you can contribute please contact Grad parent Tim Beer at 403-975-5474. You can also bid on the items on the site.
Tim's better half, Mari Beer has made some gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Christmas cards that are available at $2.50 each. If you didn't already find Mari in front of the Black Diamond Bakery on Light Up night then you can still purchase the cards at Bohemia. $2 from each sale goes straight to the grads, with only .50cents going for materials. If you have ever done scrap booking or any craft, you know there is more than fifty cents worth of material in these cards. Mari also has some wonderful hair accessories for sale at Bohemia that are handmade, too, so think about who on your list you can “dress-up” with these gifts. Mari's cards will continue to reflect the seasons as this campaign continues into 2012 – think Valentine's, Mother's Day, etc.
While the weather is still nippy you can also warm up your hands while warming up to a grad with Hand Warmers. For just $2/pair you can spend time enjoying a winter activity but your hands will stay toasty warm. You'll be sitting on your hands at that next hockey game and it won't be to keep your fingers warm! Many of the grads will be selling these but you can also contact Tim for your Hand Warmers.
As the months roll on, more fundraisers will appear – watch for a bottle drive, Cookie Dough sales, raffles, etc. If you have any ideas for fundraising you could share them with this hard-working group. Just call Tim – Grad 2012 Fundraising Committee member - his number again is 403-975-5474.
