STIX Hockey Academy and Jeff Ovens has made history in Black Diamond. The week of August 22nd saw ice in the Oilfields Arena and 125 smiling kids faces showing up bright and early for the first ever hockey camp to be held in this area.
Coaches, Jeff Ovens, Matt Murphy and Chad Barton along with Counsellors, Carly Hoar, Kayla Hughes, Alex Newcombe, Blake Roney, Coltin Berard, Justin Jones, Rhett Kingston and Susie Kovacs deserve a huge round of applause for all their hard work.
Jeff Ovens had this to say, “STIX Hockey Academy was a wonderful success due to a dedicated staff who truly cared about their campers. The feedback we received from our customers was extremely positive. We were told a number of times that STIX Hockey Academy was the best summer camp experience their children have ever had.
Moving forward STIX Hockey Academy would like to continue to help develop personal excellence through a love of hockey. It is our hope we will be given the opportunity to work in Black Diamond again next year. Again, thank you for your support!”
