Longview Link - Village Grand Prix

The Annual Village Grand Prix is coming to Longview this weekend - fun for all!

Ok we're spoiled, I admit it. Enough of the –30+ temps!!! I guess the one good thing about the cold weather is that the wind has left us for a short time although I'm sure it will return soon.
Weather aside, here are some upcoming events and dates that you should mark on the calendars. February 3rd is the Annual General Meeting which will be held at the Longview Community Hall at 7:00 pm. Everyone welcome. Please join us for updates on many interesting topics.
February 11th. Mark that date for the Village Grand Prix happening at the Fire hall. Cost for entering this event is $5.00. If you wish to have more information on the cars themselves or events of the day please call 403-558-3932 and give yourself plenty of time to work with your imagination on a fantastic car. This will be lots of fun for kids of all ages, so don't forget to mark your calendar.
On February 16th an open house will be held at the Longview Community Hall for updates concerning Legacy and our community. Legacy will provide information on activities in and around Longview area. Refreshments will be served and doors will be open from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
The new bulletin board is in place at the Village Office on the North side of the building. Anyone wishing to add information to the board can drop it off at the Village Office or come in for the key.
