On February 9th a Burning Ban was placed on all open fires, including burning barrels, in the M.D. of Foothills including the towns, villages and hamlets located within its boundaries.
All open fires including those under a burn permit are to be extinguished and no further permits will be issued.
This Burning Ban will remain in effect until further notice.
